Ways to Eat Sweet Potatoes
- Roast cubed sweet potato at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Drizzle with pure maple syrup
- Cut a sweet potato into 1/2" rounds and grill. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the finished product
- Instead of traditional mashed or baked potatoes substitute the white potatoes with sweet
- Add sweet potatoes to homemade vegetable soups and stews

- Choose firm, medium sized sweet potatoes
- Skins should be smooth, bright and uniformly colored
- Sweet potatoes should be free of soft spots, cracks and blemishes
- Store sweet potatoes in cool, dark location; but not the refrigerator
- Storing sweet potates with an apple can keep the sweet potates from budding
