Cuyuna Regional Medical Center this Spring is offering a class for people wanting to help save lives and contribute to the health of their community.
An Emergency Medical Technician class is planned for Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 27 through June 3, from 6 to 10 p.m. in CRMC’s Clinic Conference Room. The class prepares students for licensure as an EMT in Minnesota and gains them registration and membership with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
CRMC’s graduates have achieved a 92 percent first attempt pass success rate on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Exam. Many area first responder groups, emergency medical service, police and fire include alumni from CRMC’s programs.
Tuition is $900 plus $200 for books which the student must purchase. A minimum of six confirmed students are needed to proceed with the class. For more information or to register, please contact instructor Bryan Krantz at Bryan.Krantz@cuyunamed.org or 218-866-2848.
