Recipe of the Month: Banana Split Shake

Enjoy a refreshing protein shake that will make you think you’re eating dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops of your favorite protein meal replacement
  • 2 large strawberries, chopped
  • Chocolate of choice: (five dark chocolate chips or 1 tsp, sugar-free chocolate syrup)
  • 6 oz. water (or liquid of choice: milk, almond milk, soy milk)
  • Optional: 4-6 ice cubes, ¼ chopped banana, 1 Tbsp. whipped topping (fat-free or regular can be used)

Directions

  1. Add liquid, protein powder, and ice (if using) to a high-powered bender. Blend until well combined.
  2. Add the chopped strawberries, chocolate, and banana (if using). Pulse a few times until just combined.
  3. Top with whipped topping, if desired, and enjoy!
