
Area seniors are invited to attend a presentation about Osteoarthritis that will be given as a free lunch and learn seminar by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Hip & Knee Total Joints Coordinator Amber Taylor, R.N., on Thursday, April 13, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby. Topics of discussion will include a description of osteoarthritis, how it is diagnosed, what you can do about it, and avoiding surgery. Taylor, who has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years, joined CRMC’s Orthopaedics team last year. Previously she worked at Essentia Health in Brainerd for seven years. Her nursing experience includes Long-term Care/Transitional Care Unit, labor and delivery, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit/surgery. Taylor earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at The College of St. Scholastica. Presented by Cuyuna Area Connections and sponsored by CRMC, lunch will be provided.
