Our financial assistance program helps patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing hardship cover the cost of medically necessary care. We understand that medical bills can be overwhelming. CRMC offers financial assistance to help patients who qualify reduce or eliminate the cost of their care.

What is Financial Assistance?

CRMC offers financial assistance to patients who need help paying for medically necessary services. Financial assistance is based on your income, resources, and ability to pay. While patients are expected to contribute when possible, CRMC is committed to making care affordable and accessible to all.

Do You Qualify?

To see if you may qualify for financial assistance, compare your household size and annual income in the chart below. If your income is equal to or less than the amount listed for your family size, you may be eligible.

Income Guidelines by Household Size

  • 1 person – $30,150
  • 2 people – $40,600
  • 3 people – $51,050
  • 4 people – $61,500
  • 5 people – $71,950
  • 6 people – $82,400
  • 7 people – $92,850
  • 8 people – $103,300

You may qualify for financial assistance if:

  • You’ve applied for all available health coverage (such as Medicare, Medicaid, or MNsure)
  • You’re responsible for the bill, and no other insurance or program will cover it
  • Your income falls within the guidelines shown above
  • All other financial options have been reviewed and denied

Note: Financial assistance is not available if you’re eligible for insurance but choose not to apply.

What Happens After You Apply?

Once we receive your completed application:

  • You’ll get a written decision within 30 days
  • If you’re approved, help is available for one year from the approval date
  • If denied, we’ll work with you to explore other options.

How to Apply

You will need the following items for your application:

  • Proof of income (such as pay stubs, tax returns, or benefit letters)
  • Insurance details, if you have coverage
  • Copies of your current medical bills
