Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby in July was accredited by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) in Credentialing for three years with a score of 99.88.
Credentialing Accreditation helps improve credentialing and protects consumers by ensuring a consistent, effective, and diligent credentialing process. It provides a framework for organizations to implement industry best practices that help them accurately and efficiently credential and recredential health care professionals.
“Achieving NCQA Credentialing Accreditation demonstrates that CRMC has the systems, processes and personnel in place to conduct credentialing in accordance with the strictest quality standards,” said CRMC’s Interim CEO Amy Hart.
NCQA Accreditation is governed by the standards for Accreditation in Credentialing, developed with the assistance of representatives from the Standards Committee, the Review Oversight Committee, and input from other organizations. NCQA Accreditation is a voluntary review process.
