
Ryan Stepan, a native of Eagan, Minn., has joined Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Leadership Team as the Multi-Specialty Clinic Director. He will direct all activities that contribute to the operational, clinic and business functions of the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery, Minnesota Reflux & Heartburn Center, Minnesota Center for Obstetrics & Gynecology and visiting specialists.
Stephan comes to CRMC from UnityPoint Clinic where he spent the last nine years; seven of which were in clinic leadership roles with the most recent being Director of Operations for 10 rural Iowa clinics. In this role, he was able to expand access to care, create new care delivery models and help improve the patient experience and increase quality outcomes.
The director holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Des Moines University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from North Dakota State University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association and the National Association of Rural Health Clinics.
Outside of his work, Stepan enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, playing golf, biking, hunting and making and wood fired pizza. He currently resides in Humboldt, Iowa, with his wife, Sarah; daughter, Elouise; and two dogs. They plan to relocate to the Cuyuna Lakes Area in January.
