CRMC Upgrades MRI Technology for Faster, Clearer Scans
CROSBY, MN – Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is advancing its MRI capabilities with a system upgrade that brings the latest imaging technology to the community, supporting faster exams, and clearer images. The upgrade reflects CRMC’s ongoing commitment to keeping diagnostic services current with evolving clinical standards and patient expectations.
What This Means for Patients
The enhanced MRI technology shortens scan times while producing highly detailed images, helping care teams make confident, timely diagnoses and improving the overall patient experience. MRI services continued uninterrupted during the upgrade, which began January 23, with on-site mobile MRI units.
“We are proud to invest in advanced technology that supports exceptional patient care and helps our providers deliver the best possible outcomes,” said CEO Amy Hart. “This upgrade reflects our continued commitment to bringing high-quality diagnostic services to our community.”
Once complete, the upgraded system will allow care teams to obtain detailed diagnostic images more efficiently while reducing the amount of time patients spend in the scanner. What patients can expect:
- Shorter MRI exams using updated imaging technology
- Improved image clarity to support accurate diagnosis
- Continued access to advanced MRI services close to home
During the Upgrade
During the upgrade period, patients may notice temporary visual and logistical changes around the hospital. CRMC staff will be available to assist with directions and questions.
