CRMC Recognized Among Minnesota Hospitals that Patients Highly Recommend

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of 765 hospitals nationwide—and one of just 26 hospitals in Minnesota—on its list of Hospitals Patients Would Highly Recommend.

The recognition is based on patient survey data collected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Patients were asked how likely they were to recommend the hospital to friends and family based on the care they received.

“This recognition shows the trust our patients and communities place in us every day,” said Amy Hart, CEO of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. “It reflects the compassion of our staff, the expertise of our providers, and our commitment to providing exceptional care close to home.”

Focused on Patient Care

Being recommended by patients is one of the strongest signs of a positive patient experience. This recognition highlights CRMC’s focus on providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate healthcare.

That commitment can be seen throughout the organization. In 2025, CRMC performed more than 11,180 surgeries, supported by fellowship-trained surgeons and advanced surgical technology.

Expanding Access to Care

CRMC continues to grow and expand healthcare services across the region.

Construction is underway on a new oncology department that will help more cancer patients receive treatment close to home. CRMC also plans to open a new clinic in Nisswa this fall, making it easier for patients throughout the Brainerd Lakes area to access healthcare services.

As a community-owned, nonprofit healthcare organization, CRMC remains committed to improving patient care, expanding access to services, and investing in the people, technology, and facilities that support healthier communities.
