Macy Dotty Named Emerging Healthcare Leader
CROSBY, Minn. – Macy Dotty, Director of Business Optimization at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC), has been named one of the nation’s top emerging leaders in healthcare by the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
National Recognition for Leadership and Innovation
Dotty was recognized as one of MGMA’s Future Five Award recipients during the organization’s national conference. The award honors five outstanding healthcare professionals who, within the first five years of their careers, have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made a measurable impact on their organizations or the healthcare industry.
MGMA is a premier professional association serving leaders and professionals in medical practice management. Through data benchmarking, education, advocacy, and best-practice resources, MGMA supports organizations in advancing operational excellence and improving patient care nationwide.
Driving Innovation at CRMC
Since joining Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in 2020, Dotty has been a driving force for innovation and improvement in medical practice management. Starting her career amid the COVID-19 pandemic, she quickly mastered data analytics and workflow optimization, helping transform how CRMC uses data to enhance care and operational efficiency.
Dotty played a key role in helping CRMC’s Orthopaedic Team earn DNV Advanced Orthopaedic Certification—making CRMC the first critical access hospital in the nation to achieve this honor. She also oversaw several surgical service lines and a team of more than 30 employees, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Most recently, Dotty was promoted to Director of Business Optimization, where she continues to lead initiatives that strengthen CRMC’s performance and patient experience.
