The public is invited to a free, community screening of “Being Mortal,” a documentary about end of life care that delves into the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness. “Being Mortal” investigates the practice of caring for the dying and explores the relation-ships between patients and their doctors. After the screening the audience can participate in a conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences guided by CRMC’s Care Center Geriatrics Specialist Dr. David Goodwin. Reflux & Heartburn Seminar

Place: Arrowwood Lodge, Baxter
People suffering with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) are invited to learn more about the comprehensive treatment solutions for reflux and heartburn at a free seminar. Dr. Howard McCollister, a specialist with the Minnesota Reflux and Heartburn Center, will provide an overview of the latest advances in diagnostics and treatment for GERD including the LINX Reflux Management System available only at CRMC and two other places in the state.
