Free Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening
Time: 5-7 p.m.
Place: Crosby Clinic
Free breast and cervical cancer screenings will be available to uninsured and under-insured women age 40 years and older who meet income guidelines. The program offers the following services for eligible women—clinical breast examinations, mammograms, Pap tests, pelvic examinations, Human papillomavirus (HPV) tests, diagnostic testing if results are abnormal, and referrals to treatment.
Light refreshments will be served at the event and ladies will receive a goodie bag. For a screening appointment, call 218-546-7000, ext. 2135.

Vote for Pink Party
Time: 2-3:30 p.m.
Place: Ambulatory Conference Room
Women who are affected by cancer are welcome to attend “Vote for Pink,” CRMC’s Women’s Cancer Support Group which will be celebrating October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Pink Party. All those attending are encouraged to wear pink and pink desserts will be served. There will also be games and prizes for all those who attend. Facilitated by Oncology Care Coordinator Christine Roy, R.N., and Clinical Nurse Educator Lisa Slepica, R.N., the group is open to women who are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment and post treatment. Registration is not required and there is no cost to attend. For more information, call 218-546-4319.
