Memory Loss Support Group
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Place: Heartwood Senior Living Community
A memory loss support group for the caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s Disease. The group’s facilitators are Karen Ford and Pam Wachholz who have been trained through the Alzheimer’s Association to lead memory loss support groups. Both women have loved ones in their lives with Alzheimer’s, a disease that attacks the brain. The group is free and open to the public; no reservations are necessary. Brain Injury & Stroke Support Group
Time: 6 p.m.
Place: Clinic Conference Room
People with brain injuries and their caregivers and those who lives are affected by stroke are welcome to attend Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Brain Injury and Stroke Support Group on Thursday, June 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the hospital’s Clinic Conference Room. The group’s facilitator is Russ Philstrom, a member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Minnesota. There is no charge and no reservation is necessary. Call 651-329-1373 for more information.
