Chaplain

CRMC’s Chaplain, Mark Henson, is available to assist patients and their families with compassionate care. He will respond to any spiritual need you may have during your time with us. The chapel, located in CRMC just past the Cornerstone Coffeeshop, is always open for quiet reflection. The chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

CRMC believes that total patient care requires attention to spiritual as well as physical and emotional needs. Rev. Dr. Henson is a board-certified chaplain and provides pastoral services to patients and their families of all faiths. You can request the chaplain through your health care team.

  • Support and comfort during times of loss, illness, pain, trauma, or grief
  • Spiritual and emotional counseling 
  • Emotional support and prayer for your well-being
  • Support before surgery or during treatment
  • Making a difficult decision about a diagnosis
  • Medical ethical counseling and advance directives information
  • Prayer and sacraments
  • Pastoral visitation 
  • Arranging spiritual care from additional resources within the community
  • Inspirational resources such as Bible

Office Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The chaplain provides services to several areas of the CRMC facility and may not be immediately available. 

Requesting the Chaplain

Contact a receptionist and ask to speak to the chaplain. A message may need to be left with the chaplain.
