Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, an accredited bariatric surgical center, is hosting Bariatric Surgery 101: An Evening of Experts and Answers. The free event will explore weight loss based on science, not willpower. Seventy percent of people in the United States struggle with their weight. For most, it’s a lifetime fight. With over 3,000 successful bariatric operations, CRMC’s team of compassionate specialists will help individuals understand what to expect on this journey to health and wellness.

Dr. Roberts will be joined by Katie Thompson, CRMC’s Bariatric Patient Coordinator. With a team of experts on hand, people will be able to enjoy a lively Q&A and sample a dietitian-approved bariatric recipe during a live cooking demonstration.
