Caregivers, family, and friends of persons with dementia are invited to the monthly Dementia Caregiver Support Group in Crosby. The first session is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Super One Clinic Conference Room.

Presented by the Alzheimer’s Association in partnership with CRMC, the support groups are conducted by trained facilitators. They are a safe place to develop a support system; exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions; talk through issues and ways of coping; share feelings, needs, and concerns; and learn about community resources.
