Bio

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Monica Larson of the Brainerd Lakes Area joined CRMC’s Medical Staff as a Nurse Practitioner in Urology, in April 2022. She practices alongside Board Certified Urologist Brandon Reynolds, M.D., and Nurse Practitioner Emily Hilgers at CRMC’s Crosby clinic. Larson completed practicum experience in women’s health at CRMC, family practice/primary care at CHI St. Gabriel’s Health in Little Falls, and Essentia Health in Brainerd in Urology. She also spent time in urgent care at Essentia Health in Fargo, North Dakota. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from The College of St. Scholastica. Larson has achieved numerous honors and awards and was included in the Honor Society of Nursing-Sigma Theta Tau International at the University of North Dakota. She is licensed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Larson also completed a certificate of Mastery for RNFA through the National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA). Outside of work, Larson enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as being outdoors.
