Bio

During her educational journey to become a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lake Superior College, Megan (Boyd) Scollard completed one of several clinical internships at CRMC. After graduating with her Associate of Applied Science degree, she joined CRMC’s Physical Therapy Department in 2016. Boyd has worked with patients in home care, skilled nursing, transitional care, outpatient rehabilitation, and inpatient hospital and swing-bed settings. Her experience and expertise led her to become CRMC’s lead PTA in 2024.

Boyd’s enthusiasm and special interests lie in geriatrics, complementing her certification in LSVT BIG, a specialized rehabilitation approach for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. She also excels in orthopaedic conditions and has completed certification training in amputee care and industrial health, including employment screening.

Her favorite part of patient care is seeing people achieve their therapy goals and make meaningful progress. Outside of work, Boyd enjoys playing golf, pickleball, and kayaking.
