Practice philosophy: To provide personalized, evidence-based care by focusing on prevention, early intervention, and patient education to improve cardiovascular health and quality of life.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about raising my children to be kind, hardworking citizens and continuing to search for improve my mind and health so that I can continue to do so for others, and ultimately improve their quality of lives.

If you weren’t a health care provider, what would you be? A stay at home dad.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I spent 10 years as an ICU RN, where I developed a strong interest in caring for those with cardiac conditions. Over time, I felt I could make a greater impact by helping people manage and prevent heart disease.

What is something you have learned from your patients? That if listen to them I’ll never stop learning.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Problem solving. For most patients the answer is not straight forward. To critically think my way to what I believe is the best way forward is very gratifying.

What is your personal health goal? To be able to continue to beat my three boys in a foot race until I am 50 years old.

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Exercise.

What are you most proud of? My family.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Marrying my wife. Becoming a father. Graduating NP School while raising three little boys.
