Jacob Goodwin, MD, joined the CRMC medical staff in September 2025 as a Neurologist. He recently completed Neurology residency and a fellowship in Electromyography at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. A Deerwood native, Dr. Goodwin is thrilled to be back home.
“I really wanted to work here. I love the small, intimate feel of the community, but I also appreciate that it’s a place offering high-quality, multi-specialty care. It’s a privilege for me to bring a service to the area that hasn’t been available. I’ve always been fascinated by the nervous system and managing the diseases that affect it, but I especially love the opportunity to support patients through challenging diagnoses.”
Dr. Goodwin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas before attending the University of Minnesota Medical School. He and his wife are excited to raise their five children in the community alongside family.
