Brooke Justus is a registered nurse who is passionate about helping people manage diabetes and feel more confident in their care. She began her nursing career at North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities, where she worked in inpatient medical-surgical oncology. She later worked at MNGI Digestive Health in an endoscopy center supporting patients through same-day procedures.

Brooke joined Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in 2025 and enjoys working with patients to help them better understand and manage their health.

Her interest in diabetes care is personal. Brooke grew up with a sister who has Type 1 diabetes and saw firsthand how the disease affects daily life for both patients and families. That experience inspired her to focus on helping people find practical ways to manage diabetes that fit their lifestyle.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. She especially enjoys fishing and snowmobiling. She and her fiancé recently welcomed a new puppy who keeps them very busy.
