Bio

Family Nurse Practitioner Ashley Hanson, of Pequot Lakes, joined the Internal Medicine team of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby in July 2020. She came to CRMC from Edgewood Assisted Living in Brainerd, where she worked as a Registered Nurse Manager. She also has experience as a Charge Registered Nurse at Essential Health St. Joseph’s Intensive Care Unit and as a Registered Nurse at Sanford Health’s Medical/Surgical Unit. Hanson earned her Doctor of Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from Concordia College in Moorhead.

“What I enjoy most about my practice is the opportunity to build relationships with patients and get to know them as individuals. I enjoy involving them in their care and initiating a collaborative treatment plan.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids on the lake, fishing and surfing.
