Everyone is invited to take a chance at winning up to $10,000 and support critical health care needs in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Split the pot raffle tickets are now being sold for only $5 each with all proceeds benefiting Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Foundation.
The raffle’s first prize is $10,000, second is $5,000, third is $2,500, fourth is $1,500, and fifth is $1,000 based on selling 8,000 tickets. The winner will receive 50 percent of the gross sales of tickets. Tickets will be on sale through September 3 and the drawing will be held Tuesday, Sept. 5, at CRMC. Winners need not be present.
Tickets are now being sold in the following locations: Cuyuna Lakes Pharmacy at CRMC and Super One in Crosby and at Cragun’s Legacy Pro Shop, Bear Trap, Irma’s, and Legacy Grille. Beginning July 1, tickets will also be available at Cub Foods in Brainerd and Baxter.
The mission of CRMC’s Foundation is to care for everyone in the community from their first breath to their last regardless of their financial ability. Dollars donated to the Foundation touch thousands of patients and families each year. Two examples of CRMC’s support are the Courage Cabinet which provides financial assistance to area cancer patients and the Because of Brandon fund which provides scholarships for area youth with Type 1 Diabetes to attend a summer camp and helps others diagnosed with the disease with their medical travel expenses.
The CRMC Championship will take place from August 28 to September 3 at Cragun’s Legacy Courses in Brainerd. It is the only PGA Tour Canada event occurring in the United States and marks the second PGA-sanctioned event in the state of Minnesota. Raffle tickets will also be available at the event.
