
Hip and knee pain will be the topic of KKIN Radio’s Community Connection program, 94.3 on the FM dial, Thursday, Sept. 13, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Orthopaedic Specialist Adam English will be the guest.
English will speak about CRMC’s recent national recognition as a Best Hospital for Hip Replacement by U.S. News & World Report. He will also provide a preview of his upcoming Hip Pain seminar to be held September 17 at the Northern Cowboy in Brainerd.
A Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, English has served CRMC in numerous capacities since 2005 including working in surgery and as a charge nurse on the Transitional Care Unit. He graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with his Nurse Practitioner certification in 2015. English relocated to Deerwood from Woodbury, Minn., in 2005 after working as a stereotactic medical technician in neurosurgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Raised in Wisconsin, he is an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badgers fan who rarely misses a game. In his spare time, he loves to ice fish, play softball and golf. Currently, he is working on completing a doctorate in nursing. He and his wife, Angie, have three children: Braylee, Jacob and Evan.
