Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Skills Test Out

Nurse Is Putting On The Foot Of Neonatal Premature Infant Pulse Oximeter For Premature Babies, Selective Focus. Newborn Is Placed In The Incubator. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

This course is intended for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse midwives, licensed midwives, respiratory care practitioners, and other healthcare professionals who provide direct care during neonatal resuscitation.

The NRP Provider course introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation.

These sessions are instructor-led sessions verifying competency of the learner’s NRP skills. The learner must first complete the American Academy of Pediatrics online training at https://www.aap.org/en/pedialink/neonatal-resuscitation-program/ prior to attending a skills test out. Skills sessions are scheduled for one hour.

NRP skills test outs are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM (there may be exceptions for holidays). Registration is required.
