No, but I would like to be! The Care Center and Heartwood collaboratively offer OnTrack, a 75-hour MN state-approved Nursing Assistant Course to new team members not active on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry. OnTrack offers student flexibility with 35-hour self-paced learning modules, two-proctored exams, 24-hours of skills training in CRMC’s SIM lab and 16 hours of clinical experience in the Care Center to help prepare new employees for the state competency exam. All training and testing is paid. OnTrack program and MN Competency exam must be completed within 120 days of hire to be eligible for employment as a nursing assistant in the Care Center or Heartwood Campus.

Tuition Reimbursement

All part-time over and full-time employees who have been employed for at least one year can apply for Tuition Reimbursement up to $3000 for pursuing a degree.

Employees in the Care Center can apply for a Nursing Facility Scholarship in the amount of $5000 each school year toward LPN, RN, and other programs that would result in promotion in long term care. (Prior approval required.)
