Bio
Certified Physician Assistant Samantha Stanfield grew up in Crosby and is a CI-graduate. She joined the medical staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Interventional Pain Management department in January 2022. Stanfield works alongside Board Certified Interventional Pain Specialists Dr. Joshua Horowitz and Dr. Dan Lonergan to provide the latest advances in treatment and supportive care to help reduce or alleviate pain and restore quality of life. A graduate of the University of New England, she holds a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Stanfield also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Chemistry Magna Cum Laude at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. Stanfield previously worked in the Emergency Department at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan, Maine. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of New England. Her volunteer experience includes serving as a nursing assistant in general surgery at Hospital Bienfaisance de Pignon in Haiti. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, relaxing at the lake, running, mountain biking, walking her Golden Retriever Murphy, hiking, cross-country skiing, and trivia nights.
