Bio

A specialist in family medicine, Dr. Paul Carey of Nisswa joined CRMC from CentraCare Urgency Center in St. Cloud, where he worked as a staff physician for three years. He previously served as an urgent care physician at Essentia Brainerd Medical Clinic for 20 years and as a family medicine and ER physician at Family Medical Center in Little Falls for three years.

Dr. Carey also proudly serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Minnesota National Guard.

He earned his medical degree and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed a residency in family practice and community health at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul and an internship at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Dr. Carey and his wife, Mary, have three children.
