Providing care in the community where she grew up is especially meaningful to Nikita King, PA-C. As a physician assistant at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, she cares for patients with a wide range of primary care needs.
Nikita completed many of her clinical rotations at CRMC, along with additional training at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Her professional interests include primary care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and obstetrics.
Nikita believes each patient deserves thoughtful, individualized care. She focuses on using the latest evidence-based research while working closely with patients to create care plans that support their health, goals, and lifestyle.
Originally from Crosby, Minnesota, Nikita is excited to return to the Brainerd Lakes area and serve the community she knows and loves. Before becoming a physician assistant, she worked at CRMC as an Emergency Medical Technician. She later worked as a physician assistant in the emergency department at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans before returning home.
Outside of work, Nikita enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. She especially enjoys snowshoeing, camping, mountain biking, fishing, and relaxing by the lake.
