Dr. Anderson joined the CRMC medical campus in Crosby in 2005. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Anderson completed the Minnesota Rural Physician Associate program in 2001. He completed his residency through the Grand Forks Family Practice program and was one of the Chief Residents in 2004. Dr. Anderson enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine and practicing in primary care because it allows him the opportunity to see a broad spectrum of issues.

“I enjoy getting to know patients in primary care.I get to meet so many interesting people and continually learn from my patients on a wide variety of topics, medical and otherwise, as I visit with them. I also enjoy working with patients to achieve their individual health goals. People are not all the same, and patients’ wishes for their care must be respected.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, hiking, swimming, gardening, and cooking. “My family and I enjoy participating in activities at church; we have all been part of the worship team. I have helped with sound and projection for church services; my wife sings, and my son plays guitar and sings. I also enjoy spending time mountain biking with my son. I have volunteered as a ride leader with the Cuyuna Lakes High School Mountain Bike team for several years.  It is both fun and great exercise! My wife and I were both Scandinavian studies minors in college, and we can speak Swedish.”
