Joseph Merck, MD

Ophthalmologist Joseph Merck, M.D., joined the medical staff of CRMC in July 2019. His specialty areas of practice include comprehensive ophthalmic services including cataract and glaucoma surgeries, macular degeneration, dry eye, trauma, and emergency ocular care. Dr. Merck earned his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his internship in internal medicine at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He completed residency training in ophthalmology at Baylor Scott and White Eye Institute. Dr. Merck also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Creighton University in Omaha. Outside of his practice, Dr. Merck enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, fishing, hiking, good food, and live music.
