Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Britta Peterson of Grand Rapids joined the Surgery Team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby in October 2022. She came to CRMC from Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth where she worked since January 2021. She also has four years’ experience working as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Peterson annually serves as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Salvation Army events. The CRNA earned a Master of Science degree in Nurse Anesthesia at the Minneapolis School of Anesthesia where she also received an Award of Excellence for Academic Achievement. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing anything outdoors with her husband Kyle and her red Lab Copper.
