Bio

Dr. Angelina Ausban is originally from Northern California. She joined CRMC in June 2021 to begin a new Medical Weight Management program focusing not only on weight loss but also on improving overall health and quality of life. She works hand-in- hand with CRMC’s long standing and highly respected Surgical Bariatric program. Dr. Ausban is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and a practicing General Internist. She came to CRMC from CentraCare Clinic in St. Cloud where she practiced Internal Medicine and Pediatrics for 18 years. She began working with patients to lose weight in her primary care practice in 2013. Before moving to St. Cloud, she practiced for 3 years in Hermantown, MN and for two years in Milwaukee, WI.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Ausban enjoys golf, travel, gardening, chess, reading and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband, CRMC’s Director of Radiology, Dr. Kevin Smith, have 2 grown children.
