KariLee Pietz of Deerwood has joined the staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center as Emergency Department and Outpatient Social Worker.

She comes to CRMC from Wadena County Human Services where she worked as Social Service Supervisor. Pietz also has experience working for the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services as Social Service Program Administrator, Program Coordinator and Social Worker and as an Aitkin County Health and Human Services Social Worker. A Minnesota licensed social worker, Dietz earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Bemidji State University. She is a graduate of Aitkin High School.

In her new position, Pietz will promote the overall well-being of patients by addressing spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological needs to achieve the highest possible patient care.
