Pre-Kindergarten through sixth-grade students are invited to have fun while being splashed in a rainbow of color while they participate in a special Color Run on Monday, Oct. 3, beginning at 6 p.m. at Cuyuna Range Elementary School’s playground.
The event is free and no pre-registration is required. Youth should wear clothes that can get messy and bring a garbage bag or towel to sit on in the car, a camera for a colorful group photo, and a smile. Volunteers are welcome to throw color powder on the runners, they should just come to the playground at 5:45 p.m. for instructions.
The event is part of Ranger Run, a youth cross country program for fun and fitness being held on Mondays at 6 p.m. through October 10 at CRES. Ranger Run is sponsored by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Crosby-Ironton School’s Community Education, C-I Cross Country teams and coaches, and dedicated volunteers.
Follow the program on Facebook at Ranger Run for any weather cancellations. For more information contact Chris McCusker, at stormthecastle66@gmail.com or 319-541-5580.
