Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Orthopaedic Center of Excellence Designation will be discussed by Fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon Jeffrey Klassen, M.D., and Director of Orthopaedics and Spine Adam English, N.P., on KKIN Radio’s Community Connection program, 94.3 on the FM dial, Thursday, Dec. 14, from 8 to 8:30 a.m.
The specialists will share how this Fall, CRMC became the first and only critical access in Minnesota to receive the Orthopaedic Center of Excellence designation in four orthopaedic programs from DNV Healthcare, a hospital accreditation organization. They will also provide an update about CRMC’s orthopaedic services.
Dr. Klassen specializes in shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions of all age groups. His practice includes treatment for shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder instability surgery, rotator cuff repair/reconstruction, total and reverse total shoulder replacement, sports and trauma-related elbow ligamentous and reconstructive surgery, elbow arthroscopy, management of the stiff elbow, and total elbow arthroplasty. Dr. Klassen came to the area in November 2020 from Twin Cities Orthopedics in Edina and has additional experience practicing at Essentia Medical Group in Duluth. Adam English has served CRMC in numerous capacities since 2005 including working in surgery and as a charge nurse on the Transitional Care Unit.
