
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Adam English will participate in the panel “Innovations in Reducing Opioid Use” at Minnesota Community Measurement’s Seminar, Innovating Together, on Thursday, Sept. 12, in Minneapolis.
English will discuss the opioid protocol CRMC’s orthopaedics department developed that reduced consumption by 46 percent and the impact it has had in rural orthopedics.
The annual seminar brings together stakeholders from across Minnesota to discuss data-driven health care improvement. Keynote presentations will include: “The Future of Measurement: Setting Priorities,” “Harnessing Automation and Artificial Intelligence to Drive Innovation in Measurement and Quality Improvement,” and “Innovations Needed to Advance Mental Health Care and Outcomes: A Community Conversation.”
English has served CRMC in numerous capacities since 2005 including working in surgery and as a charge nurse on the Transitional Care Unit. He graduated from The College of St. Scholastica with his Nurse Practitioner certification in 2015.
