Graham Fain, D.O., an Internal Medicine physician from Las Vegas, Nevada, will join the medical staff of Cuyuna Regional Hospital in Crosby on August 1 as a Hospitalist. He will focus on the general medical care of hospitalized patients.
The physician comes to CRMC from Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center in Las Vegas where he worked as a hospitalist and a staff internist in the primary care clinic since July 2018. A Major in the United States Air Force, he also served as a physician at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar, and was the Air Force’s Sexual Assault Forensic Medical Examiner.
Dr. Fain earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus and completed Expeditionary Medical Support System and Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense training.
The internist has held numerous leadership positions including Medical Director Primary Care Clinic, Emergency Room, Inpatient Ward, ICU at Al Udeid Air Base Qatar, and Inpatient Medical Director Medical-Surgical Unit, Inpatient Medical Director Intermediate, Internal Medicine Representative Patient Flow Function, Trauma Function and Critical Care Function, and 44M Comprehensive Medical Readiness Plan Functional, all at Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center. Dr. Fain is the recipient of many awards and medals including Air Force Commendation, Air Force Achievement, Air Force Outstanding Unit, Global War on Terrorism Service, National Defense Service, Humanitarian Service, and United States Air Force Small Arms Marksmanship.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Fain enjoys kayaking, golf, baseball, stand-up comedy, and traveling.
