
Darlene Hendrickson of Ironton recently joined the staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center as Care Manager-Social Worker to assist in managing patient outcomes.
In the new position, Hendrickson will assess individuals, families, and communities actual and potential health problems. She will work collaboratively with care teams to assist patients and their families in coping with illness, optimize the patient’s self-care abilities, and support patient’s rights to make choices.
Prior to CRMC, Hendrickson was a social worker/discharge planner/care manager at Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin for three years. She also worked as a care coordinator for Morrison County Public Health in Little Falls for two years and as an in-home outreach worker for Bridges of Hope in Brainerd for two years. Hendrickson holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work from the College of St. Scholastic in Duluth.
