
Jenna Ritter of Crosby, a Registered Nurse with more than 17 years of health care experience, was recently appointed Infection Preventionist at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
Ritter came to CRMC from Recover Health in Minnetonka where she had served in multiple positions from Clinical Manager, Administrator and Regional Director of Operations for Northern Minnesota since 2013. She also worked at Knute Nelson Hospice as the Regional Manager and had previous nursing positions at Woodland Good Samaritan in Brainerd. The nurse earned her RN degree at Lake Superior College and LPN degree at Pine Technical College.
In her new position, Ritter will be responsible for organization-wide infection prevention and control and ensure they are in accordance with current federal, state, local and Joint Commission standards, regulations and guidelines. She will work closely with CRMC leaders, employees and medical staff to ensure they are educated and compliant with policy, procedure, and practice.
Ritter will work closely with Registered Nurse Sarah Dorschner of Brainerd who had served as infection control and employee health nurse since 2017. A member of CRMC’s nursing staff since 2004, Dorschner earned her Bachelor Science degree in Nursing at Minnesota State University-Moorhead. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and health fitness from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.
