About This Provider:

As the lead Physical Therapist of CRMC’s Transitional Care Rehabilitation Team since 2014, Dave has extensive knowledge in many aspects of the clinical field, with a special interest in the complexities of geriatric care and stroke recovery.

In addition to his leadership role in the Care Center, Dave heads several areas of specialty services in our rehabilitation department. He is certified in LSVT Big; a comprehensive rehabilitation approach for those with Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders.  Dave also cultivates health in our local community by sharing his expertise in balance training, such as teaching Matter of Balance Classes.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, he furthered his education at Des Moines University, where he enhanced his proficiency and obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. During his educational tenure, he completed many clinical internship experiences here at CRMC. Expanding on his current degree, specialties, and certifications, Dave is seeking national certification in Lymphedema Management.  

Outside of work he enjoys traveling with his wife, fishing, camping, golfing, and runs in several races per year.
