Because of Brandon ATV Charity Ride

Join the Cuyuna Iron Range Riders ATV Club for its annual charity ride benefiting Because of Brandon, a fundraiser through the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Foundation. The event supports Brandon’s Wallet, a program that provides financial assistance to local residents living with Type 1 diabetes.
The ride begins in Ironton, Minnesota, at 9:30 a.m. (not at the Section 6 Trailhead). Participants should meet two blocks south of the Ironton Legion at the corner of Irene Avenue and Hematite Street. Parking will be available in the open field, and riders will ride to Miller Black Bear.
Lunch Options
- The Ironton Fire Department will offer grilled food and cold beverages until 2 p.m.
- The Ironton Legion will feature discounted specials for Because of Brandon riders.
Cost
- Guided ride with a $20 scorecard
- 50/50 Dart Toss — the highest score wins 50% of the proceeds, with the remaining funds benefiting the Because of Brandon fundraiser for diabetes patients.
This annual fundraiser honors the memory of Brandon Houge, a beloved member of the Ironton community who passed away unexpectedly in 2015 due to complications from diabetes. Every contribution to Because of Brandon helps local individuals and families affected by diabetes by providing support for expenses such as transportation to treatment, groceries, and youth diabetes camp scholarships. The goal is to ease financial burdens and improve the lives of those managing diabetes.
