Our state-of-the-art SIM Lab offers abundant opportunities for training for our nursing staff. All newly hired nurses begin with our Nurse Professional Orientation and from there are able to hone existing skills and develop new proficiencies.
Each Registered Nurse has $750 available for non-mandatory education each year. These educational dollars may be used for tuition for workshops, advance certification testing, and travel expenses for education. (Prior manager approval and proof of attendance is required.)
All part-time over and full-time employees who have been employed for at least one year can apply for Tuition Reimbursement up to $3000 for pursuing a degree.
Employees in the Care Center can apply for a Nursing Facility Scholarship in the amount of $5000 each school year toward LPN, RN, and other programs that would result in promotion in long term care. (Prior approval required.)
