Benefiting Type 1 Diabetic Patients

Join us in supporting Type 1 Diabetes patients in memory of Brandon Houge of Ironton, Minnesota, who passed away from diabetes complications in December 2015. All proceeds benefit Brandon’s Wallet, providing assistance to area diabetes patients. This includes gas cards for pediatric travel to Children’s Hospital in the Twin Cities, camp scholarships for youth ages 8 to 17 at Camp Needlepoint, and financial aid for insulin and glucose testing supplies.

Charity ATV Ride

Benefiting Because of Brandon

Join the Cuyuna Iron Range Riders ATV Club for their annual charity ride benefiting Because of Brandon. The event will start at 9 a.m. at the Miller-Black Bear Section 6 Trailhead. Trail location: from Ironton, go north on Irene Street (County Road 30), four miles north of Ironton, go west on County Road 34, and then south on Iverson Road. Watch for the banners. 

The club will provide a light lunch following the ride. To help patients with Type 1 Diabetes, donate now.

Erin’s Wish

benefiting the Courage Cabinet

Join us for a day of fun at the Town Tavern! Festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with a motorcycle run, followed by a variety of food and kids’ games at 10 a.m. Test your aim at noon by taking a shot to dunk a local celebrity in the dunk tank. The excitement continues with a bags tournament offering prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places at 2 p.m., a meat raffle also at 2 p.m., and a live concert featuring the band Get Over It at 7 p.m.

A raffle with $2,000 in prizes is also being held. Tickets are $5 each and are now available at the Town Tavern and American Legion in Ironton, Crosby-Ironton Courier in Crosby, and the Deerstand in Deerwood. The top three prizes are $1,000, $500, and $250. Winners will be announced on Saturday evening.

CRMC Championship

The CRMC Championship is the only PGA TOUR Canada event in the U.S. This event attracts 156 players from around the world, runs with the support of 250 community volunteers, and has an impact that travels far beyond the ball. Funds raised benefit the CRMC Foundation to support the most critical needs for health care in our community.

Cruising for Charity

CRMC Foundation Fundraiser

Join us for an evening of merriment and giving as we set sail on the blue waters of Gull Lake.

Kick off CRMC Championship week aboard the luxurious North Star with Gull Lake Cruises. Enjoy mouth-watering bon voyage cuisine, premium libations, sip on Chloe wines, and listen to live music. All proceeds from this private cruise benefit CRMC’s Foundation.

Join us for our annual fundraiser benefiting CRMC’s Courage Cabinet, which offers financial assistance to area cancer patients undergoing treatment. With a substantial increase in cancer diagnoses in the area, many patients need support as they battle for their lives.
