
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Obstetrics Nurses Jennifer Kargel of Baxter and Nicole Davidson of Breezy Point recently achieved the National Certification Corporation credential in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing by meeting educational and practice requirements and passing a rigorous national examination.
The nurses join almost 196,000 health care professionals who have earned the prestigious NCC credential since 1975. Maintenance of the credential is required every three years and involves earning on going continuing education in the specialty.
A member of CRMC’s staff since 2011, Kargel has been Obstetrics Coordinator since 2020. She also worked as an Obstetrics Registered Nurse, Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Unit, and as a Transitional Care Unit Charge Nurse. Kargel earned a Bachelor of Science degree at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and an Associate degree at Central Lakes College in Brainerd. Davidson has worked as an Obstetrics nurse at CRMC since 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
