
System Database Administrator Dean Turnbloom of Crosby this week received Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Trophy Fish Award for going above and beyond in his job by coming to the rescue on a Saturday afternoon to get Wi-Fi working at the Because of Brandon community fundraiser which was key to the event’s success. In addition, without being asked, he also helped event staff streamline spreadsheets so they could be more efficient in processing donations.
“As a true ambassador, he showed his collaboration to help us work together in an innovative manner,” his nominators wrote. “Dean showed us his true dedication to the organization by coming to help on his day off to ensure a major component of the event worked and the opportunity to ensure that the event went smooth for us. We will never be able to thank Dean enough for his support, dedication, professionalism and compassion.”
A graduate of Central Lakes College, Turnbloom has been a member of CRMC’s Information Technology staff since 2007. Other award nominees for July were: Care Center Registered Nursing Assistants LeAnne Hansen, Sabrina Jones and Zachary Richter; Denials Specialist Megan Glenz; Data Processing Analyst Mary Novotny, Administrative Assistant Wendy Thiebault, Recruitment Assistant Julie Torgerson and Care Center EVS staff.
