Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Tree of Love fund-raising event and Hospice will be the topic of discussion on KKIN Radio’s Community Connection program, 94.3 on the FM dial, Thursday, Dec. 8, from 8 to 8:30 a.m.
Home Care/Hospice Director Jennifer Wiedell and Social Worker Kim Olesen will provide details about the Tree of Love campaign and how the funds raised are used to help others in the community. They will also speak about the services Hospice staff offer to patients and their families.
Each year, CRMC Hospice accepts memorial and honor gifts for the annual event. Donations benefit hospice, a service of compassionate care for people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness regardless of their financial resources. Hospice involves a team approach to expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support. A vital part of hospice care is providing support to the family and loved ones of patients.
Donations to Hospice are accepted all year and the Tree of Love accepts donations through the end of December. For more information, visit www.cuyunamed.org or call Hospice at 218-546-2311.
