
Crosby-Ironton School District Superintendent Jame Skjeveland, Ed.D., of Deerwood was recently appointed by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's Governing Board of Directors.
Dr. Skjeveland has served as C-I’s superintendent since 2006. He also worked the previous 20 years as superintendent, principal, assistant principal, and music teacher at school districts in Wisconsin. Dr. Skjeveland earned his Doctorate degree in Educational Administration at William Howard Taft University, Specialist degree in Educational Administration at Mankato State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Luther College.
On the CRMC Board, Dr. Skjeveland joins, Kent Feltz, owner of KF Engineering, M-Pro and M3B; Dr. Paige Holmgren, family physician; Dr. Josh Horowitz, interventional pain specialist; Wade Leonard, president of Rice Lake Construction; Ginny Savaloja, retired Laboratory Technologist; Bart Taylor, regional president of RiverWood Bank; CRMC Governing Board member Andrea Bedard; and Interim CEO Amy Hart. The Board’s primary responsibility is to follow the organization’s mission. CRMC is an independent, community-based organization with medical facilities in Crosby, Baxter, Breezy Point and Longville.
