
Area seniors and elder care workers are invited to attend “Question-Persuade-Refer,” a free Cuyuna Area Connections Lunch and Learn seminar on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Clinic Conference Room in Crosby.
At the seminar, mental health and suicide prevention instructor Destiny Brown will review mental health risks and protective factors specific to the elderly. She is the North Central Minnesota Suicide Prevention Regional Coordinator and a front-line Care Project Lead for Northern Pines Mental Health Center in Brainerd. Resources will be provided following the presentation.
