Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s recent accreditation with The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement will be the topic of KKIN Radio’s Community Connection program, 94.3 on the FM dial, Thursday, June 9, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Orthopaedic Clinic Manager John Reimer will be the guest.

The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care. The clinic manager will also share how CRMC recently underwent a rigorous, onsite review in which a Joint Commission reviewer specializing in total hip and knee standards evaluated patient outcomes and compliance with specific standards.
A member of CRMC’s Orthopaedic Clinic staff since 2020, Reimer is a Registered Nurse who previously worked at Fairview Home Care and Hospice, M Health Fairview Surgery Center, and Regions Hospital in the Twin Cities as well as The University of Kansas Hospital and Atchison County EMS. The manager holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, and is studying to become a nurse practitioner.
