
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby on Wednesday recognized nine of its Registered Nurses at a luncheon for accomplishing vast criteria and education and applying it to their practice by completing the organization’s Clinical Recognition Program.
Dustine Parks, Outpatient Services Charge Nurse RN of Aitkin, was recognized as a Clinical Scholar. Clinical Experts who were honored included Kristin Christensen, Recovery RN of Deerwood; Peggy Forstner, Surgical Services RN/Clinical IT Coordinator of Crosby; Krystal Gottsman, Recovery RN/Education Coordinator of Pequot Lakes; Traci Gujer, Recovery RN of Deerwood; Sarah Oehrlein, Operating Room RN of Brainerd; Jesse Oman, OB Coordinator of Aitkin; Christine Roy, Radiology RN of Fifty Lakes; and Ashley Yager, Critical Care Resource Team RN of Brainerd.
CRMC’s Clinical Recognition Program recognizes and rewards commitment to and expertise in clinical practice. The program provides opportunities for eligible employees to progress through a clinical career advancement program through the achievement of designated credentials, clinical skills and contributions. There are three obtainable levels: Clinical Mentor, Clinical Scholar and Clinical Expert. Employees are awarded the designation for two years and are expected maintain the activities and achievements for the appropriate level the entire time.
