Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Registered Nurse Tami Froidcoeur of Emily on Thursday received the organization’s Trophy Fish Award for going above and beyond to assist a patient.
When Froidcoeur learned the rescheduling of surgery left an elderly patient who lives alone without transportation to the hospital, she stepped up to the plate and volunteered to drive the patient from her home in Remer to Crosby. The patient’s Faith in Action driver was unsure if transportation could be arranged for the rescheduled appointment.
Froidcoeur, who works in Pre-Op Education, has been a CRMC employee since 2002.
